More than 1,000 hydrogen refueling stations with WEH refill guns
When the Chinese government makes a decision, they really go for it. The energy transition, for example. Although they have not signed the Paris Climate Accord, they are going harder than almost any other country. The result: Teesing China supplies the filling guns and hoses for 1,000 hydrogen filling stations.
When it comes to CO2 emissions and pollution, people often point the finger at China - the "low-tech country with heavy industry." But the real situation in China is very different than most people realize. While we can refuel hydrogen in 4 places in the Netherlands, our Beijing branch of Teesing sells large quantities of parts for hydrogen refueling stations and chassis parts for vehicles.
China has by far the largest CO2 emissions on earth. But then it also has 1.4 billion inhabitants. However, it is on track to reach its climate target 10 years earlier than was agreed upon in the Paris accord. China has invested as much as three times as much in renewable energy production as the U.S. in recent times and, meanwhile, produces more green energy than any other country. Its cities have a combined 400,000 electric buses, all produced in China. Of all EVs sold in the world, 60% are produced in China and bought by its own people. In Beijing, the streets are quiet because most of the vehicles are electric.
China has 30,000 km of high-speed lines in operation. That is 3 times as many as in all of Europe. China is the world leader in electric bicycles, electric scooters and scooters, and 8 of the 10 largest producers of solar panels are in China. A wind turbine is added every hour. China has an ongoing reforestation program covering an area the size of all of France in which 38 billion trees have already been planted since 1990. Impressive, to say the least
China is not aiming to embrace 1 green energy source: they are doing it all. So in addition to battery electric driving, the growth of hydrogen electric driving is skyrocketing. Has been for years. That's why more and more hydrogen fueling stations are popping up, all equipped with WEH vulnozzles, breakaways and hoses supplied by Teesing China (WEH vulnozzles TK16, TK17 and TK25 for example).
Pictured is a Sinopec H2 refueling station for buses, in Jiashan City in Zhejiang Province. The buses themselves are equipped with WEH connectors TN1 and TN5. The hydrogen is brought to the refueling station by trucks and locally brought to 350 bar by compressors in the refueling station.
